 As pastor of Pilgrim’s Rest Missionary Baptist Church, the mission that has been assigned to me by Jesus Christ is:

1. To stand in His council waiting for his word.

2. As laid out in His Word, I am to preach the word. (2 Timothy 4)

My mission is to (when needed) give correction, rebuke when necessary, give encouragement to God’s people and most of all, give training in righteousness so that the people of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work, by his word and deed.
